The company began its journey in North Reading, MA, as North Atlantic Refrigeration Specialties, Inc., led by Al Melanson along with his wife, Rosemary. For decades, Al was synonymous with exemplary service and technical integrity in the industrial refrigeration market. Today, North Atlantic Refrigeration Sales is proud to carry that legacy forward.

• Ryan Snyder | Sales Engineer / President

Ryan brings a 30-year industry perspective to the team, centered on high-level technical sales and system design. His career includes serving as a Sales Engineer at FES (now GEA) and Evapco, as well as various roles within industrial contracting. Having spent the last seven years as a New England representative, Ryan uses his deep engineering roots to provide precision solutions for our regional customer base.

• Chris Murphy | Sales Engineer

Chris brings more than 20 years of hands-on experience from the contracting side of the industry. His "in-the-trenches" knowledge allows us to bridge the gap between complex equipment specifications and real-world field execution.

• Leigh Johns | Sales Engineer 

With over 30 years of experience representing premier industrial refrigeration manufacturers, Leigh is a cornerstone of our technical sales team. He provides unrivaled support for his core customers in NJ and NYC while bringing his deep product knowledge to our New England territory.

• Jen Snyder | Parts/After Market Sales & Office Management 

The engine behind our daily operations, Jen manages the vital functions that keep our projects on track. Jen’s oversight ensures a seamless and professional experience for our partners.
